What was you doing before you started your apprenticeship?
When I left school I went to college and completed a Level 3 Engineering BTEC extended diploma which lasted 2 years. I then applied for an Apprentice Structural Technician Vacancy I saw online and applied for it.

What made you apply for this apprenticeship with T3?
A big reason which made me apply for this apprenticeship was being able to do a course alongside my work to be able to improve my qualifications.

What have you learned since starting your apprenticeship?
Since starting my apprenticeship I have completed a 10 week training course with T3 Training in Barnsley which gives you all of the basics on each software to improve. Now I am using Tekla and I am now able to use this at a good standard.


Who do you work for and what do they do?
I work for T3-UK and we work alongside other companies detailing projects on either CAD or Tekla.

What is your role at T3-UK?
My role is a Structural Technician and on a day to day basis I have to work in the model of live jobs and then create drawings for them and send them off to the company we are working alongside.

What are your future goals within the company?
My future goals within the company is to become fully competent with Tekla and become a main part of the team and to just keep improving.
