An exciting opportunity for an apprentice to learn 3D Steel Detailing skills on a CAD Package called Tekla.
The apprentice will learn how to read Architects/Engineers layout drawings & to model/connect steel frame buildings.
This will also include building a knowledge of concrete/cladding/stairs and other important aspects that all co-ordinate the construction process of both public & private sector buildings.

An opportunity has arisen for an apprentice role within the Technical Department at our Grantham Site.

The successful applicant will learn tasks involved in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Reinforced Concrete Detailing, and Drawing office processes from receipt of an order to releasing information for manufacture.

Following the 10 week training course you will have learned to:
•Utilise Tekla Structures BIM Software to develop detailed model information.
•Produced reinforced concrete models and drawings for precast products.
•Ensure designs are in line with the latest construction and building standards and regulations.

Apprenticeship start throughout the year and are open to any age of candidate.

Apprentice Structural CAD Technician – Wakefield Ref: T301

We have an amazing opportunity to become an Apprentice CAD Technician and join an independent Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers practice.

During the Apprenticeship the trainee will develop the skills of a CAD Technician and will be given guidance and support to perform a range of tasks. In particular, you will:

Apprentice CAD Technician – Derby Ref: T304

Apprentice CAD Technician x2 – Location Derby

The successful applicant will learn tasks involved in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Reinforced Concrete Detailing and Drawing office processes from receipt of an order to releasing information for manufacture.

You will complete an Apprenticeship Training Programme over 2 years, which starts with an intensive 10 week training course delivered in Barnsley, NVQ level 3 completed in the workplace and a Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.

As part of the role you’ll will be expected to liaise with internal and external clients, ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company, ensure compliance with the company’s policies including Health & Safety and observe and comply with all good working practices.
